The invention provides a method of Plasmodium falciparum DNA extraction which comprises the step of microwave treatment of a sample tested as to content of P. falciparum. This method is very easy to perform, is reproducible, is fast, has very low technical requirements and does not employ costly or toxic reagents, neither a costly equipment.
